After receiving my MBA in marketing, I entered the life insurance business almost by default. I could not find anything that interested me, so I tried selling. I actively sold insurance products to my newly acquired clients for the first eight years of my career. I began helping other representatives in their career development and shortly thereafter entered management full time. This led to my being appointed a Managing Partner for a major financial services company for the next 21 years.

After retiring from this management position, I became the Chief Marketing Officer for the Hoopis Financial Group in Skokie, Illinois. In this role, I coach 50 financial representatives in their marketing and business development. In 2005, we expanded this coaching role to additional Northwestern Mutual Financial Network representatives in other Network Offices. I am now having the time of my life. I now look back 34 years later and feel that my decision was not only best for me but it was good for all the families that I have helped and financial representatives that I have coached. How lucky can a person be?
